Hang Ra-On is a young lady who disguises herself as a guy in order to get into the palace. She works as a matchmaker and one of her client who is a friend to the prince's sister and has a crush on him and wants to deliver a letter to him asks Ra-On to help her out. To get her client what she wants she needs to enter the palace.
Ra-On on getting into the palace disguised as a guy meets with prince Hyeom-Yeong and his bodyguard, unknown to her that she is actually talking to the prince, she talks bad about him and ask the young man to take her to the prince, so she could deliver something to him.
Hyeom-Yeong who is already pissed at everything she said asks her what she really came to do in the palace and she said she wants to be an eunuch because that was the only believable lie since there is an ongoing eunuch examination in the palace. To get back at her the prince does everything possible to make sure she gets accepted and she does everything to make sure that she fails.
After the examination and her acceptance the prince ask that she be his personal eunuch, he does all these just to keep her very close so he could cause her pain. Along the line Hyeom-Yeong wants Ra-On to quit and Ra-On suddenly doesn't want to quit anymore, the harder he is on her the harder she endures.
With every passing moment, they become closer, they get use to one another's company, Hyeom-Yeong still thinking Ra-On is a guy, started wondering if he is okay because he realizes he suddenly wants Ra-On around all the time and misses her whenever she is not around.
He tries avoiding her and keeping his distance just to understand what it is he feels and why he feels that way. Ra-On already has feelings for the handsome prince but is to scared to show it.
