Plot: Just because you happen to bear the same name with someone, you're forced to bear that someone's cross.
How do you think you would feel when you find out that the guy you get to love is the same guy who ruins your marriage.
Oh Hae-Young is bright and outgoing young lady, who lives with her parents. She works in a company and her marriage is just few weeks away.
Park Do-Kyung is a young man who lives with his siblings in the same compound but separate buildings. He is a sound producer who records practically every sound he hears and is also very sensitive to noise. Do-Kyung's long time girlfriend Oh Hae- Young suddenly leaves him, the day after he proposes to her. He tries really hard to figure out what the reason could possibly be as she disappears without a word.
Suddenly, he hears about the marriage of a particular 'Oh Hae-Young' and he feels it was his ex-girlfriend since they bear exactly the same name. He is bent on ruining the wedding, because it seems to him like the only right thing to do.
Hae- Young's boyfriend runs a company and has an important business deal to sign, suddenly the deal gets cut off and his company goes bankrupt, he was also sent to the prison. He couldn't bear the thought of getting married to Hae-Young and bringing her to suffer, and also he didn't want to make her wait for him till he gets out of prison. To him the only thing which seems right to do was cutting off the wedding. He calls up Hae-Young for them to have a meal together, innocently Hae-Young dresses up really nicely because she was going to meet the love of her life, it was going to be a great day, so she felt.
After having the meal, an awkward silence breaks out, Hae-Young decides to break the silence by bringing up talk about the wedding and the next thing she hears is "I can't marry you", she was stunned and she asked why almost in tears and he said "I hate the way you eat". She asked him to tell everyone that she was the one who called off the wedding, as a break up gift from him, because she couldn't bear the shame.
Hae-Young's parents couldn't understand why she would call off her wedding, no ine understood her, no one. A once bright, cheerful and easy going individual gradually started giving up on life because she felt everything everyone says is a lie, she lives her life daily on alcohol, it was really hard to get over it. When she finally did she told her parents that she is moving out of the building and wants to live on her own now. The building she moves in to, belongs to the guy who almost ruined her marriage.
As time went by the two got really close as they were both left by people they love.
One night they both got really drunk and they opened up about their past to each other.
Do-Kyung begins to see things before they happen, things only related to Hae-Young and this made him more interested in her he wanted to know why it had to be her.
Oh Hae-Young, Do-Kyung's ex comes back into his life and also into Hae-Young's life as she was to work in the same company as Hae-Young. Life at the company became more tough for Hae-Young as she gets compared occasionally to the pretty Hae-Young (Do-Kyung's ex).
Hae-Young's ex boyfriend returns from prison, has his business back in place and wants Hae-Young back.
